Moving-In
You have made a wonderful choice to live in AMNA Student Residence!
Our Property Manager is excited to meet you and will schedule a date & time for your move-in and help you get settled in. The Property Manager and RAs will be there to ensure a safe, secure and fun environment! This is the time to meet and establish new friendships that may last a life-time!
WHAT TO BRING
• Twin mattress, bed linens, towels,
comforter, pillows & blankets
• Cleaning products -- dish soap,
broom, dust pan, rags
• Computer
• BLU ray player, gaming system, or
DVD player
• Coffee maker, kettle, iron (no hot
plates of any kind -- this is for your
safety)
• Laundry detergents and fabric
softener
• Pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils,
dish rack, garbage bags, etc.
• Toilet paper, plunger, shower,
curtain (in shared apartment only),
first aid kit, personal hygiene items
• All school supplies required
• Garbage can
WHAT NOT TO BRING
• Animals / pets -- all pets are strictly
prohibited.
• Weapons: hunting knives, swords,
firearms, replica weapons or display
samurai swords
• Hot plates and deep fryers or
appliances with open elements
(toasters and toaster ovens for
example)
• Large musical instruments (drum
kits or pianos), surround sound
systems and subwoofers
• Candles and incense
• Kegs of beer, beer bottles, single
serving glass containers and case
sizes larger than 24
• Drug paraphernalia
• Hooks or nails that will be placed on
the wall
• Refrigerators or freezers
WHERE DO I PARK?
The Property Manager will have given you an assigned parking-spot in our ample parking space at Lindsay Student Residence and Pembroke Student Residence. For Ottawa, a parking pass can be obtained through the City.
